What is Morpheus Skin tightening?
Morpheus is RadioFrequency microneedling, a combination of microneedling where a handpiece with tiny needles is placed on your skin and the needles advanced through the skin to create microchannel injuries to the skin layers. Then, the radiofrequency energy is delivered through the tips of the needles to create deep layer thermal injuries within the skin.
The results from these injuries is new collagen and elastin are formed during the natural healing process. The thermal injuries actually ablate or reduce skin volume resulting in reduced laxity and crepiness.
The depths of the needles and thermal injuries are customized to each person’s skin and body area being treated. Depths into the fat layer on the abdomen can reduce and tighten those last pockets of fat remaining after weight loss.
Depths into the fat layer under the chin can reduce a double chin. Depths within the skin layers do not affect the fat or cause fat loss and are used on the face where we want to keep the fat volume of the cheeks.
