During your initial consultation, our expert Morpheus8 RF Microneedling clinical team member will discuss the areas of your face and neck that concern you. Treatment plans can be customized to treat only the areas you are concerned with. Most often, it’s more economical to treat the entire face and neck at once, but smaller areas can be treated too. Depending on your MORPHEUS8 RF Microneedling procedure recommendation you can expect to have between 3-4 treatments scheduled 1 month apart. Deeper wrinkles, scars, acne scars, and stretch marks typically require more treatments (4) to get adequate improvement in appearance than fine lines or crepey skin which typically require only 3. A typical regimen is 3 treatments over 3 months time followed by additional procedures at 3, 6 and 12 months if needed.

Typically two weeks after your first Morpheus8 RF Microneedling procedure, you will start noticing your skin looks and feels more refreshed with a new more youthful glow. What is all the rage about Morpheus8 RF MicroNeedling
Morpheus8 uses fractionated RF energy plus microneedling in a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles, improve the appearance of the skin, decrease hyperpigmentation from sun damage, and improve the appearance of scars, acne scars, and stretch marks. The procedure is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro-pins to resurface and restore the skin along with deep tissue heating from the RF energy to induce more collagen within the skin layers providing exceptional results with little downtime.
Areas on the face and neck can be treated to improve laxity, wrinkles, crepiness and other skin concerns that are signs of aging and/or sun damage. Crepey skin under and around the eyes can be tightened and lifted using both deep and resurfacing treatment depths. Jowls can be reduced and tightened by remodeling the fat layer and tightening the skin over the top. What about Growth Factors or other Skin Care Products?
As a routine, a personalized skincare regimen will be included with your Morpheus8 RF Microneedling Procedure. These skincare products are specialty “cosmeceutical” grade products that help the skin heal faster after this procedure and promote collagen production as well as protect your skin while it heals. These products really stimulate collagen production and further enhance the results of the procedure. One of the products we highly recommend is a growth factor product.
PRP or platelet rich plasma can also be applied to the skin after a Morpheus8 procedure. This uses the growth factors in your own plasma (a component of your blood) to promote faster healing and improved collagen remodeling. A small vial of blood is drawn from a vein in your arm before we start your Morpheus8 treatment. This blood is spun down in a specialized centrifuge to seperate the blood from the plasma that contains all the growth factors. The color of plasma is a golden yellow, not red. After your Morpheus8 procedure is completed, the plasma is applied to your skin in a thin coat and allowed to remain to absorb into the pin holes directly to the inside of your skin. This added effect from growth factors further enhances the results you see from your Morpheus8 procedure and aids in faster healing times. You can add PRP to any Morpheus8 procedure in a single treatment or for the full series of 3 procedures.
What is the recovery time after Morpheus8 Treatment?
Downtime after a Morpheus8 procedure is minimal but depends on the depth of treatment, the energy used and whether the resurfacing tip was used along with the deep layer treatments. Typically on the face and neck you can expect 3 to 5 days of appearance of any marks from the procedure. Slight swelling can appear under the eyes more than other areas. We typically tell people they just don’t look their best for the first 3 to 5 days and then everything is close to normal again.
After a Morpheus8 treatment on the face or neck, most people wear a tinted sunscreen which provides some coverage of the grid marks from the needles until they heal. Makeup can be applied 3 days after the treatment for even more coverage.
You should expect to see microdots up to 7 days after the procedure along with slight redness for up to 1 week. For most people it’s not that long. Tinted sunscreen is the last step of skincare products used daily that will minimize the redness and appearance of micro-dots on the skin from the needling procedure as you heal. This tinted sunscreen works well for both men and women and all skin types and colors.
There are no restrictions other than avoiding hot water or scrubbing your skin. All the directions for the best and fastest recovery will be provided to you when you have your procedure along with specific instructions for your skin care products.
